Parents of the Forerunner

Luke 1:5-14,39-45,57-58

“Parents of the Forerunner” reminds us that God works through faithful people who keep walking in righteousness even when the promise looks dead. Zacharias and Elisabeth were old, barren, and still blameless before God—serving, praying, obeying, and fearing the Lord. Then heaven stepped in. The angel came, the prayer was answered, John was promised, and the joy of Christ’s coming began to shake the house before Jesus was even born. God didn’t forget them, and He didn’t miss His timing. But don’t you dare turn this holy joy into cheap religion and holiday noise. This study calls us back from Santa Claus confusion, empty tradition, and half-hearted worship, and points us straight to the coming King who brought salvation, atonement, mercy, and the Holy Ghost. The Word says what it says: once Christ has come, there’s no going back to dead sacrifices or man-made comforts. Go forward in faith, repentance, obedience, and real Christianity—because this ain’t about toys under a tree, it’s about the Savior who came to pay a debt we could never pay.
