Our Example
1 Corinthians 10:1-12
“Our Example” is not a history lesson for curious minds—it is a warning for souls standing in the house of God. Paul said Israel all passed through the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, all drank from that Rock, and that Rock was Christ—yet with many of them God was not well pleased. Don’t miss that. You can be around the blessing, fed by God’s provision, covered by mercy, and still fall in the wilderness if your heart runs after lust, idolatry, fornication, murmuring, and playing with God. This study cuts straight: God has been good, but His goodness is not permission to act a fool. The same manna, the same water, the same truth that strengthens the obedient will testify against the rebellious. These things were written for our admonition, and the Word says, “Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” God didn’t leave us ignorant. He gave us an example. Now either repent, obey, and walk in the true riches of the Apostolic doctrine—or keep tempting Christ and find out the wilderness still has graves.
