Motivator for the People

Nehemiah 2:5-8,18

“Motivator for the People” shows us Nehemiah as a man with God’s hand on him, a good record behind him, and a burden bigger than himself. He wasn’t trying to make a name—he was sent to help rebuild what was broken in Jerusalem. And hear me plainly: you don’t rebuild sitting down, running your mouth, or fighting the wrong enemy. Nehemiah knew how to respect authority, ask wisely, move under favor, and stir the people to rise up and work. This study cuts into spiritual discernment too. The real battle ain’t always the person in front of you—it’s the spirit working through them. Sanballat, Tobias, Jezebel, unclean spirits, opposition, confusion, and rebellion all show up when God starts restoring His people. But the devil doesn’t get the last word when God’s people wake up, repent, obey, and get in their right mind. This ain’t just history—it’s a warning and a charge: stop sleeping, stop blaming flesh, and let God deliver you so you can build.
