Like Minded

Romans 15:1-15

Bishop's Tapes· Minister Dawson· 41 min

“Like Minded” is a straight call out of Romans 15 to stop living for yourself and start carrying the weak like Christ carried you. The strong don’t get to crush the struggling, expose their rotten places, and walk away proud. If you tear down what’s rotten, you’d better build back up with truth, mercy, and love. God is judging the motive, not just the motion. This ain’t about making a name for yourself—it’s about edification, obedience, and receiving one another the way Christ received us. Paul reminds us that the Scriptures were written for our learning, patience, comfort, and hope—and if the Holy Ghost is really in us, it ought to show in joy, peace, goodness, and a like mind. Christ tore down the middle wall, brought mercy to the Gentiles, and gave us promises we had no right to claim except by grace. So quit acting divided, cold, and self-pleasing. Get full of the Holy Ghost, glorify God for His mercy, and learn how to admonish, build, serve, and stand together. If that cuts, let it cut—because God is trying to make us look like Him before He comes.
