How Shall We Escape?

Hebrews 2:3-10, 12:24-29

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 26 min

“How Shall We Escape?” is not a question for curious minds—it’s a warning to every soul playing around with God’s mercy. Hebrews says this salvation was spoken by the Lord, confirmed by the apostles, and witnessed by God with signs, wonders, miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost. You don’t get to neglect it, revise it, or refuse the One speaking from heaven and think there’s a back door out of judgment. Jesus didn’t flatter Nicodemus—He told him straight: you must be born again. The Word says what it says. This study calls you to line up with apostolic doctrine, the New Covenant, the blood of Jesus, and godly fear before the shaking comes. Death is real, judgment is real, and your inner man is going to stand before God. But we see Jesus—the Captain of salvation, the Mediator, the One who conquered death and holds the victory. Don’t be shaken loose by unbelief, pride, or false comfort. Serve God acceptably with reverence, because our God is not a soft idea in a sinner’s imagination—He is a consuming fire.
