Greatness in God's Kingdom

Matthew 18:1-4, 20:17-28

Greatness in God’s Kingdom ain’t measured by who sits on top, who gives orders, or who gets seen. Jesus put a child in the middle and settled the matter: except you be converted and become humble, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven—much less be great in it. This study cuts straight at pride, ambition, jealousy, and that wrong spirit that wants position without servanthood. God didn’t stutter: whosoever will be great, let him be the servant. If you want divine promotion, you better learn humbleness, obedience, and responsibility before the Lord lets the pressure reveal what’s really in your heart. This is a sober word about servant leadership, the cup of suffering, betrayal from the inside, and the example of Christ Himself—who came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and give His life a ransom. The Kingdom doesn’t run like the Gentiles run things, and the church better not either. If that pride rises up when you’re tested, repent. If you want glory, make sure it’s God’s glory and not your own. Grace gives you another chance, but don’t waste it building on sand. Humble yourself, love one another, and serve like your soul depends on it—because it does.
