Fighting Against God

Acts 5:34-42, Deuteronomy 11:1-12

**Fighting Against God** is not a soft warning—it’s a trumpet blast. Gamaliel said it plain in Acts 5: if this work is of God, you cannot overthrow it, and if you try, you’ll find yourself fighting against God Himself. This study lays the matter bare: when men fight the apostles, fight the name of Jesus, fight baptism, fight the Holy Ghost, fight the truth God sent through His messengers—they ain’t just disagreeing with a preacher. They’re taking up arms against the Lord. And friend, that is a battle no man wins. From Pharaoh at the Red Sea to Dathan and Abiram in the wilderness, from false leaders rising up to Saul getting knocked down on that Damascus road, God has always shown that His power, His plan, and His judgment are not to be played with. This is a call to love God, keep His commandments, teach your children, and stop treating obedience like it’s optional. God didn’t stutter. The land, the rain, the deliverance, the chastisement, the salvation—it all belongs to Him. If that cuts, it’s supposed to. Better to be corrected now than swallowed up later.
