Divine Nature
2 Peter 1:1-18
**Divine Nature** is a hard reminder that if you’ve obtained this precious faith, you are not just walking around as ordinary flesh anymore—you’ve been called to partake of God’s divine power. But don’t fool yourself: corruption in the line will choke the power. Sin, slackness, pride, bitterness, and half-hearted living will leave you clicking like a dead battery while heaven’s power is sitting right there. Peter said add to your faith—virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Not talk about it. Not sing about it. Have it in you, abounding, rooted, nailed down. This study calls the church back to the old fire—healing, miracles, fasting and prayer, obedience, holiness, and present truth. God didn’t give us cunning fables; He gave us precious promises. But you’ve got to make your calling and election sure right here, right now. Jesus ain’t coming back for folks still trying to get ready—He’s coming for those who are ready. If there’s corruption in your life, cut it out. If your faith is barren, face it. This ain’t to shame you; it’s to wake you up before the door is shut.
