Deal or No Deal

Genesis 28:20-22, 29:1, John 3:1-5, Acts 2:37-39, 10:1-6, 19:1-6

**Deal or No Deal** draws a hard line from Genesis to Acts: there was a time when men made vows, bargains, and covenants before God—but when Jesus went to Calvary, shed His blood, rose again, and declared all power in His hands, the deal-making ended. The thief on the cross got the last deal. After that, God set the terms: **you must be born again**. Not your feelings, not your denomination, not your good works, not your tithes, not your prayers alone. Cornelius prayed and gave alms, but he still had to hear what he “ought to do.” Those disciples in Acts 19 believed, but they still had to be baptized right and receive the Holy Ghost. God didn’t stutter. This study comes after false doctrine with both hands. If you’ve been told Jesus Name baptism doesn’t matter, repentance is optional, or the Holy Ghost is extra, you need to hear this and stop gambling with your soul. The New Covenant is not up for negotiation. Acts 2:38 still says repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That ain’t harsh—that’s mercy telling you the door is still open, but you don’t get to write the terms. Deal or no deal? With God now, it’s His way—or no deal at all.
