Blessed are Your Eyes and Ears

Matthew 13:1-13,16-30

Bishop's Tapes· Bishop Edwards· 1 hr 9 min

Blessed are your eyes and ears—if they truly see and hear what God is saying. This study walks straight through Matthew 13 and the parable of the sower, showing that everybody sitting under the Word ain’t receiving it the same way. Some are wayside, some are stony ground, some are choked by the cares of this world and deceitful riches—but God is still looking for good ground that bears fruit. The Word says what it says, and if you’ve got ears to hear, you’d better stop playing with it. This is a warning in love: truth is the only thing that will keep you when false spirits, deception, persecution, and falling away come knocking. You need understanding, spiritual discernment, and a made-up mind to contend for the one faith once delivered to the saints. Don’t just hear preaching—receive it, obey it, and make your calling and election sure. The wheat and tares may grow together for now, but harvest is coming, and God won’t be fooled.
