Joshua 1:1-15

Being a Leader Pt. 1 lays the Word down straight from Joshua 1: leadership ain’t talk, titles, or empty promises—it’s obedience, courage, sacrifice, and fruit. Joshua stepped in after Moses, not to make a name for himself, but to carry God’s people forward into what God had already promised. The Lord said be strong and courageous, stay in the Book of the Law, don’t turn right or left, and move when He commands. God didn’t stutter. A real leader follows God’s order, stands on His Word, and helps the brethren until they have rest too. This study calls fathers, men of valour, and God’s people to wake up. Stop crying over water under the bridge. Stop saying, “I got mine, you get yours.” That ain’t Bible. The children of Israel crossed together, fought together, and possessed the land together. If God has given you strength, inheritance, wisdom, or rest, you don’t sit down while your brother is still struggling. You pass over Jordan armed and help him. This is a hard word, but it’s love: leadership without obedience is just noise, and prosperity without sacrifice is selfishness dressed up nice. Be strong, stay in the Book, and do it God’s way.
